- Submit proof of a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours in advance of your arrival to the conference.
CLEAR Health Pass
We've partnered with CLEAR to utilize Health Pass to make your attendance at this year's conference safer and more secure. CLEAR Health Pass is a free feature in the CLEAR app that provides an easy way to provide proof of vaccination and test results. After a quick one-time enrollment, you'll follow instructions to comply with right of entry protocols for this year's conference.
IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED A BOOSTER SHOT
Step 1: Download and enroll in CLEAR
- Download the CLEAR app and tap "Get Started" on the white Health Pass tile.
- Select "Have a Code?" and enter the code "TMT2022A"
- Tap "Enroll or verify you're in CLEAR" to create your CLEAR member account
-
- New to CLEAR? Enter your email address, phone number, and have your gov't issued photo ID ready to complete enrollment
- Already a CLEAR member? Use the email address associated with your membership and snap a quick selfie to verify your identity
- Continue to follow prompts on the entry requirements page to securely confirm your proof of vaccination and booster.
Step 2: Link your COVID-19 vaccination record.
There are a few options to digitally verify your COVID-19 vaccine, select the one that works best for you:
Option A: Upload a photo of your CDC Vaccine Card
- When prompted to add your vaccination, select 'add your vaccination card'
- Take a photo of your vaccination card and confirm your vaccine information
- Please note, the photo of your CDC card is used to generate a Health Pass. You will not be able to access it again after it is taken.
- Once confirmed, proceed to complete your Health Pass
Option B: Digitally link a vaccine from a Health System or Pharmacy
- Select your vaccine provider in the menu or by searching 'other providers'. Log-in to your patient portal and follow instructions to securely link your account with CLEAR. The CLEAR app is integrated with select healthcare providers and pharmacies.
- If you are unable to find your provider in search, CLEAR may not be able to link with them at this time.
- Check that your COVID-19 vaccine appears in your patient portal, if not we recommend you reach out to your provider directly.
- Your results will link automatically - do not try to resync your results
- Note, sync time varies by provider and may take up to 30 minutes
- Once synced, proceed to complete your Health Pass
Step 3: In the 48 hours ahead of your arrival to the event, attest to your negative test result and complete your Health Pass for faster entry at check-in.
In the 48 hours ahead of your arrival at the conference, please complete a COVID-19 test on your own and attest to the negative result in the CLEAR app.
- Open the CLEAR app and tap on the white "Your Pass" tile
- Complete the self-attestation.
- Confirm your identity with a quick selfie.
- Tap "Open Health Pass" to get your result.
*Your Health Pass will only be valid for 48 hours. If you complete the attestation before the 48 hour window, your Health Pass will expire before the conference dates and you will need to verify your Health Pass again.
A Green Health Pass means you're good to go! Show it to the events staff at the Health & Safety Checkpoint when you arrive at the Palace Hotel.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is considered "fully vaccinated"?
As per local guidelines as outlined by the City of San Francisco, "Up-to-Date on Vaccination"(fully vaccinated) means (i) two weeks after completing the full initial course of vaccination with a vaccine authorized to prevent COVID-19 by the FDA, including by way of an emergency use authorization, or by the World Health Organization (WHO) (also defined as being Fully Vaccinated) and (ii) one week after receiving a Booster once a person is Booster-Eligible. Until a person is Booster-Eligible, they are considered Up-to-Date on Vaccination two weeks after completing their full initial series of vaccination.
- Am I able to submit a negative test result in lieu of being vaccinated?
We are asking all attendees to provide proof of being fully vaccinated with the booster if eligible. Attendees will not be allowed to attend if they are not vaccinated. We understand that San Francisco guidelines allow for providing a negative test result for those who are not vaccinated, but we are implementing guidelines that we feel prioritize the health & safety of all of our attendees and staff.
- Will attendees be asked to show proof of vaccination and a negative test result on site at the conference?
Attendees will be required to submit proof of vaccination before arriving on site to the conference in order to gain access to the conference space. All attendees will also have to attest to or provide proof of a negative COVID test result received in the 48 hours ahead of arrival to the conference. Verification will be done through the CLEAR app (additional information above).
- Will attendees be required to wear masks at the conference?
All attendees will be asked to comply with any local and/or venue requirements, as well as prevailing public health guidance, in effect at the time of the conference. Current San Francisco guidelines do not require vaccinated individuals to wear masks indoors.
Regardless, all attendees are welcome to wear masks (and/or moderate personal contact) and all are encouraged to take precautions to protect themselves and respect other's health and safety preferences.
- Will Morgan Stanley be providing COVID testing at the conference or reimbursing attendees for their COVID tests?
All attendees are expected to facilitate their own test in order to gain entry to the conference, and all testing costs are the responsibility of the individual attendees.
There will be limited on-site Rapid Antigen and PCR COVID testing available at the Palace during the conference for those who are unable to find COVID testing in their home city.
- Are there nearby testing facilities for those who must receive a negative test in order to travel AFTER the conference?
Yes. As mentioned above, there will be limited on-site Rapid Antigen and PCR COVID testing available for international travelers.
Testing will also be available at CityHealth for those who will need to be tested before returning to their home city after the conference. They offer RT-PCR/NAAT tests as well as Rapid Antigen tests. At-home Teledoc-verified test kits are also available to order by clicking here. Please be sure to confirm what type of test is required by your specific home country. The current turnaround time for a RT-PCR/NAAT test is 36 hours. There are a number of other local pharmacies and health centers who offer testing close to the Palace Hotel, and you are encouraged to use whichever provider you feel most comfortable with.
